And then maybe Yate Loon D14SH-12, but difficult to get here. Yate Loon D12SL-12 120mm Case Fan Review Static Pressure Theory Published: 7th February 2008 Source: Aqua-PCs Price: 3.99 Author: Matthew Fogg Static Pressure Theory I thought it would be pertinent to run over some basic theory in relation to static pressure and its benefits, as all fans are not created equal. Scythe Slipstream have stupid (Scythe, if your are listen – why?) 120mm mounting holes, would otherwise be a nice fan, but pointless with 140mm rads. If anyway knows a fan that is significantly better, no PWM whining or rattling (which the NZXT they don’t have at all), and come at much improved noise – I am happy to listen. Noiseblocker PK-3 or Akasa Viper or whatever, b/c they either push less air or look stupid or are anyway as loud at high rpm. Watch out, besides the 600RPM sleeve bearing, they make a ball bearing model at 750RPM. The Yate Loon D12SL-12 120mm Super Quiet Cooling Fan is designed for near silent operation while still providing good airflow. Perhaps one lesson here is that fan manufacturers have learned to optimize their designs, so there is no systematic difference between kinds of fans. The Yate Loon D12SL-12 120mm High Speed Cooling Fan is designed for near silent operation while still providing good airflow. Yate Loon makes the big '250mm' fan, but YL correctly describes it as a 220mm. The pattern is gone: 120mm 7-bladed fans and 120mm fans with nine or more blades cool about the same for any particular sound pressure level. That’s why I won’t bother getting some e.g. Yate Loon fan specs - 120mm, 140mm, 220mm () Post by Felger Carbon » Mon 2:24 pm. I selected to include both the Yate Loon D12SL12 slow speed 47cfm 120x25mm fans, as well as this Scythe Ultra Kaze DFS123812-3000 high speed 136cfm 120x38mm fans. fans at around 1000 rpm for low load everyday use, they are perfectly quiet. FYI the fans are loud indeed, but they do push a lot of air! When using silent and a sensible custom profile with the Kraken X60, i.e. NZXT takes forever though to get these on the market! I buy an X60 and can’t buy additional fans for it, which is quite bad. Waiting for this to use in push / pull configuration for my Kraken Dk_vr - Why need a test sample, it’s the same fan as on the Kraken X60 and there are plenty of reviews…
